    CCS烟台办事处(原烟台船舶检验局)系中国船级社(CCS)的分支机构，是烟台、威
海地区唯一从事船舶入级检验业务的专业机构。
    2001年，CCS烟台办事处严格执行安全质量责任制，深入开展“水上运输安全管
理年”活动，坚决执行交通部2号令，对达到报废船龄的客滚船撤消证书，予以报废
，对15艘客滚船按92法规重新进行了吨位计算，完成了15艘新造船舶的检验任务，为
保证船舶安全做出了贡献。
