【人口】   2011年全市人口小幅增长。 年末户籍人口185.96万人，其中，男性
93.51万人， 女性92.45万人。计划生育率98.03％，人口出生率8.42‰，死亡率
4.99‰，自然增长率3.43‰，晚婚率为66.23%，出生人口性别比109.5。

【民族】  境内居民主体为汉族。据第六次全市人口普查统计，全市共有43个少
数民族成份，6886人（常住人口）。人口最多的是回族，其他百人以上的有满族、
蒙古族、土家族、壮族、苗族、白族。全市少数民族呈散杂居分布。
