人口概况
    1989年末， 全市总人口2899963人，其中非农业人口900950人，占总人口的31.07％，农业人口1999013人，占
68.93％。在总人口中男性1472985人，女性1426978人，性别比例为103.2。
    全年人口自然变动： 出生42168人（包括往年出生漏统计3852人） ， 出生率14.62‰，死亡15715人，死亡率
5.45‰，自然增长26453人，自然增长率9.17‰（包括往年漏报人数在内）。
    人口机械变动：省内外迁入25570人，省内外迁出18766人，净迁入6804人。
