 2020年1月，市委巡察办编印《淄博市委巡察工作制度规范汇编》，制定或修订五大类31项制度，使每一个环节、每一道程序、每一个岗位都做到有章可循、有规可依。9—10月，市委巡察办利用2个月的时间，开展档案攻坚战，对巡察机构成立4个年度、11个轮次的2万余份档案资料进行系统整理，实现档案管理的规范化、精细化、制度化。8月，市委巡察办在《淄博日报》开设“巡察一线”专栏，同时利用淄博电视台等市级新闻媒介，及时发布市县两级巡察新闻信息，全年共刊发各类新闻报道65篇，有效扩大巡察工作的社会知晓度和影响力。
