    5月29～30日，淄博市先后2次接到省献血办和北京市血液中心“北京急需‘非典’临床
救治用血12万毫升”援助通知后，6月1日，市卫生局、市献血办公室等有关部门在淄博商厦、
银座商城、 山东理工大学东西两校4个点同时组织开展“支援北京、抗击‘非典’、捐血一
日” 活动。全市人民积极响应，当天共有志愿者上千人参加献血，总量达14万毫升。下午3
点，市中心血站再次检验筛选包装，于晚7点30分包装完毕并冷藏待运。2日22点30分运抵淄
博火车站，3日凌晨1点零9分，满载淄博市413万人民深情厚意的13.2万毫升合格血液，搭乘
2540次列车运往北京。
