    该代表处经中国人民银行总行批准于1994年9月8日正式成立, 并于1994年12月16
日对外开业,其办公地址在青岛汇泉王朝大酒店1000室,吴任斌先生任首席代表。东亚
银行是一家港资金融机构, 已先后在深圳、广州、珠海、大连和北京等地开设了分行
或代表处。该代表处成立一年多来, 积极从事有关金融、贸易和投资方面的联络及咨
询服务,取得了一定成绩。
