    在青岛市机构改革工作中,市委、市政府于1995年9月26日正式下发文件将青岛市
人民政府畜
牧办公室更名为青岛市畜牧局,正式列入政府序列,使之成为全市畜牧行政管理机构。
机关内部设置5个处室, 即:办公室、畜牧处、兽医药政处、政工处、计划财务处。辖
属奶业总公司、畜禽良种公司、花木绿化工程公司、肉牛公司、畜牧研究所、畜牧兽
医站、兽药监察所、畜牧科技培训中心、凯德集团公司、牧工商供销经理部等10个县
(处)级企事业单位,下属44个基层单位,干部职工1500多人。
