    1991年底全市共有192.46万户、6709277人，其中男性3411776人，女性3297501；
非农业人口1702877人，农业人口5006400人；市南、市北、台东、四方、沧口、黄岛、
崂山等7区人口2072201人，平度、即墨、莱西、胶南和胶州5市人口4637076人。全市
人口密度平均每平方公里630人，其中市内市南、市北、台东、四方、沧口等5区平均
每平方公里13795人， 黄岛区平均每平方公里675人，崂山区平均每平方公里816人。
1991年全市出生人口为79771人， 出生率11.93‰；死亡41527人，死亡率6.21‰；自
