    青岛市自来水公司第二送水厂是青岛市市内5区的主要供水单位， 主要净化大沽
河水源系统原水。大沽河水源地原水管道输水能力为2.5立方米/秒，而二水厂原来的
反应、 沉淀能力为2立方米/秒。为增大该厂供水能力，市自来水公司投资470万元，
扩建了二水厂的反应池、沉淀池、滤池、清水池，改造了相应的联络管道、电池设备
及一、二级泵房。使原水、净化、出厂水配套供水能力由17.3万吨/日增至21.63万吨
/日。
