    1999年底， 全市共有702.97万人， 比上年增长0.49%。 其中， 市区231.94万人， 增长1.03%；5市
471.03万人，增长0.22%。全年出生人口6.48万人，出生率9.24‰；死亡4.56万人，死亡率6.50‰；净增
人口1.92万人，自然增长率2.74‰。
    青岛市除汉族外，有满、回、朝鲜、壮、蒙古、土家、苗、锡伯、高山、维吾尔、瑶、白、藏、
仫佬、畲、布依、纳西、侗、达斡尔、彝、水、怒、俄罗斯、傣、毛难、鄂伦春、傈僳、佤、哈尼、
鄂温克、土、拉祜、普米、撒拉、景颇、羌、黎、门巴族等38个少数民族。1999年底，全市38个少数
民族总人数占全市总人口的0.15%。
