    1998年,全市组织对外及对港澳台交流项目23个,交流人数322人次。其中,市小海贝艺术团赴韩国参
加第二届世界青少年舞蹈节;市民间秧歌团赴韩国参加大邱文化节;赴乌克兰敖德萨市举办现代书画及
民间工艺品展;市中学生艺术团一行20人赴台湾交流演出。
    年内,俄罗斯国立“小白桦”舞蹈团、斯里兰卡艺术团、南斯拉夫国家歌舞团、拉脱维亚歌舞团
等国家来青演出;台湾周大为儿童说唱团也来青演出。
