    该工程为1个进口矿石专用泊位, 设计运量近期为1100万吨、远期为1500万吨。项目总投资估算为
17.87亿元,其中水工投资约为1亿元。建设单位为青岛港建港指挥部,设计单位为交通部水运规划设计
院,由中港一航局二公司承建施工,中北监理公司监理。工程分为引堤、栈桥、码头三部分。
    该工程属典型的外海无掩护施工,施工难度大,工期紧。1997年6月5日开工,至1998年12月14日靠船
成功。自开工到建成仅用500多天,创中国建港史新纪录。(李国华  朱玉峰)
