    1998年,为确保汛期安全渡汛,市市政工程管理局于年初对各市区防汛工作普遍进行多次检查。6月,
专门召开全市市政系统防汛工作会议,对防汛工作进行具体部署。8月,市区连降3场特大暴雨,市政职工
坚持雨中上岗,出动500余名抢险人员和各种车辆100多台次,及时排除70多处险情。(刘恩德)
