    1997年，美国美联社、《商业周刊》、《华尔街日报》、《远东经济评论》、ABN，英国路透社、
《金融时报》 ，日本NHK、《读卖新闻》，韩国KBS，芬兰国家电视台等11个国家新闻机构的39批、
56名外国记者来青采访。其中，有16家新闻机构采访海尔集团、12家采访青啤集团、8家采访海信集团、
8家采访青岛港务局。8月中旬，美国《华尔街日报》驻北京记者来青采访海尔集团。9月17日，《华
尔街日报》头版头条刊登该记者题为《中国瞄准国际市场》文章。文章发表当天，海尔集团就收到世
界各地客商发来的１０多份或表示钦佩、或追加订货、或要求合作的电函、传真。
