      1996年11月1日,站区调值班员平炉、房彦鹏在雷达上首先发现一架不明身份的
航空器沿民航航路向我方移动,平炉、房彦鹏等在请示民航总局的情况下,判别其为非
法航空器, 并严重警告其停止非法航空活动,迫使其折途而返,从而避免了一起非法航
空器进入中国领空事件(此机后经证实为美国海军P3反潜侦察机)。航站已就此专门对
有关人员进行了表彰奖励。
