    1996年5月底完成了从南海路至东海路的送污水干管建设及管道经由的太平角一
路、 山海关路、太平角二路和湛山三路等路段道路维修翻建任务。该设施于1996年6
月上旬投入运行,使前海一线的污水冒溢得到有效控制,第一海水浴场和太平角近岸海
域的污染问题明显缓解。
