    1996年青岛市重点抓了生猪定点屠宰工作。完成了全市生猪屠宰场、点定点工作;
对全市830名兽医卫生检疫员进行了培训, 经考试、考核后重新发证上岗;在全市统一
了肉品检验验讫印章, 向248个定点屠宰场(点)发放了专用检疫印章,使肉品检验工作
走上规范化轨道。市兽医卫生监督机构对市内3个最大的猪肉市场进行了监督检查,共
补检猪8.32万头、牛3.82万头、羊3.9万只。整顿了兽药生产经营秩序,核发兽药经营
许可证195个, 抽检兽药、饲料添加剂产品1100多批次,查出假劣兽药95个品种。全市
已有兽药监督员30名、兽药检查员184名。
