    1987年农历四月初八（公历5月5日）湛山寺修复开放后，举行了第一个“佛诞”
庆祝活动， 接待信徒和游览的群众20000余人。僧众身穿袈裟，同信徒一起在僧察院
临时佛堂举行了“佛诞”浴佛礼仪，进行了“普佛”、“绕佛”和“交大供”等宗教
活动。
