    青岛市台东骨科医院的前身是台东区医院的骨科，创建于1960年，20多年来医疗
技术不断提高，燕取得了可喜的科研成果，吸引了许多省内外患者慕名而来。1985年
经市政府批准，正式成立了青岛市台东骨科医院。该院实行中西医结合治疗，设有80
张床位， 年门诊量达5万人次，其“空心纸壳外固定”曾获省科技大会奖；“肩锁关
节外固定器”经市和全国部分骨科专定鉴定，认为是国内首创，已申报专利。1987年
开展了断肢再植研治。 已做的6例断肢再植手术均获成功；带血管骨块移植、人工关
节置换、脊柱等骨科大手术均取得了良好效果。
