    刘师道（960－1014），字宗圣，北宋开封府东明县人。雍熙二年（985）进士。历任彭、润、复、秀、潭诸州知州，后升
枢密直学士，改左司郎中。师道聪慧机敏，博览群书，尤其通达吏事，善于决断繁难复杂案件，公案上从来没有积案，因此，
他调到哪里，无论做什么官员，其名声都很好，下属和百姓对他都很尊敬。他精通文理，擅长诗赋，和杨大年是莫逆之交，不
断有应酬唱和，有时论起文章来通宵达旦。去世后，祀于乡贤祠。
