    因为从大年初一开始至六月初一正好是第六个“初一”，本地俗称“小年下”，又有人称之为“六月节”。六月初一时，
麦收完毕，秋苗尚小，相对来说农事较少，比较松闲一些。再者这时麦子已收，家里也有粮食了，所以家家都要蒸馒头、炸油
条、炸糖糕和包饺子来改善一下生活。在自己改善生活的同时，也不忘敬奉祖宗，在家里给祖宗上供、祭拜，只不过不如过大
年的规模。
