    1986年，全县出生5780人，死亡2486人，净增3294人，人口自然增长率5.7‰。2000年，出生人数最多，为21848人，死亡
3645人，净增18203人，人口自然增长率高达26.29‰。2005年，全县出生6532人，死亡3116人，增加3416人，人口自然增长为
4.57‰。该年，全县共有748712人。20年间，除1990年、2000年、2002年、2003年人口自然增长率超过10‰外，其他年份均在
10‰以下； 全县人均寿命和文化程度有较大提高，流动人口逐年增加，户平均人数减少。
