    1986年，东明县政府设环境保护办公室，为副科级事业单位。1989年11月，东明县环境保护局成立，为正科级单位。2005
年，环保局内设办公室、财务股、宣传法制股、管理股，辖刘楼、东明集、城关环保所和环境监测站、环境监察大队，有干部
职工277人。
