                                     第四章  宗  教

    20世纪80年代开始，全县宣传贯彻公民信仰自由政策。1987年5月，东明县基督教自治、自传、自养爱国运动委员会成立。
1990年，县政府设民族宗教事务办公室，加强县宗教活动事务管理。1994年，对全县宗教活动场所依法登记，建立县、乡、村
三级宗教管理网络。之后，实行宗教活动场所年检制度。2005年，全县主要有伊斯兰教爱国协会、基督教“三自”爱国委员会、
天主教爱国会3个宗教团体。登记宗教活动场所61处，信徒16340人。
