    吴西堂（生卒年不详）东明县人，清光绪年间进士。因工书法名扬百里，即使篆隶亦能臻其玄妙。得力于半截碑遗意，晚
年自成一家，数十年间全县碑匾多为其书，人获其片纸往往视为拱璧宝物。
