    清朝时期，本县民政由户房管理。民国时期，由一科管理（1940年建立了抗日政
府，政府内设民政教育科，因排列在各科之前，习惯称为一科）。1948年以后，历届
政府都设有民政科。 1968年9月至1972年， 称内务办公室。 1972年，改称民政局。
1982年，民政局下设三股一室一场，即：优抚股、社会股、安置股、办公室、火化场。
各乡、镇配有民政助理员，行政村设有民政委员会。1985年，又增设了双扶公司、军
队离退休干部休养所。
