    6月30日起， 全县进行剿匪反霸，实行土地改革。全县109215亩土地受淹，灾区
缺粮318.9万公斤，开展生产自救解决25.5万公斤，其余全部由国家救济。
    夏秋白喉、疟疾、痢疾、副伤寒流行，患病者多达112500人。中央、省、地火速
派102人的防疫队来县， 同本县医生组成联合防疫队，星夜奔赴疫区。顶风冒雨，备
战8昼夜，扑灭疫情。
    全县建完全小学10处，达到区区有完小。
    12月21日起， 全县人民投入抗美援朝运动。报名参加志愿军的青年达25550人，
捐款9.8亿。
