    1968年9月18日，毛泽东主席发出“知识青年到农村去，接受贫下中农再教育”的指示，大批城镇青年和高、初中毕业生上山下乡。自1968年至1978年，鄄城县共接收济南、菏泽、甘肃、河北等地下乡、回乡知识青年(简称知青)1038人，开支费用33万元。来鄄知青除回乡外，分别被安置在城关、郑营、引马、箕山、左营、什集、阎什口等7处公社的16个知青点插队落户。调整知青政策后，对来鄄知青统筹安排，陆续就业，到1980年全部得到安置，其中留城157人，招工1136人，参军20人，升学16人，接班3人，收回20人。
