    1975年春从山西榆次购进第一套半移动式装置喷灌机组，先后在城关西寺大队、南街大队、董口军屯大队进行试点。1981年5月阎什口乡筹资8.36万元，购进喷灌机30套。1985年发展到53套，喷灌面积1.5万亩。1985年，全县拥有149套，喷灌面积2.9万亩。由于喷灌设备造价太高，耗油量大，灌溉面积小，群众不常使用。
