    建国以来，国家对水利建设事业投入大量资金。1951—1990年，国家向郓城县投放的水利经费（不包括黄河经费和省、地安排的水利工程项目投资）达5271.72万元，其中基本建设投资2208.83万元，农田水利投资2706.19万元。1956—1990年国家每年平均投资345.10万元，其中1956—1959年每年平均投资165.88万元，60年代每年平均投资229.74万元，70年代每年平均投资803.44万元，80年代每年平均投资327.23 万元。除国家投资外，全县农民自筹水利建设资金6843.43万元。
