    建国前，多代同堂的大家庭占多数。建国后，家庭成员每人都有一份土地，大家庭逐渐由一对夫妇及其未婚子女所构成的小家庭所取代，家庭趋向小型化，户均人口逐渐由多变少。明、清时期本县户均人口约8.6人，民国时期约5—6人，建国后约4人。
