    1987年始在县水产公司内配备3名渔政人员。1988年成立水产局后，设渔政股，配备4名渔政人员，购置渔政车辆，大力宣传《中华人民共和国渔政法》和国务院颁布的《水产资源繁殖保护条例》及山东省人民政府颁布的实施细则，代表国家和政府颁发捕捞许可证，处理违犯渔业法规进行电捕鱼的有关人员，保护水产资源，保证生产者的合法权益和渔业的正常发展。
