    新中国建立后，中共巨野县委办公室、县人委办公室和公安局、法院，都有专
人负责人民来信来访。1957年，县委办公室和县人委办公室，分别设立了人民来信
来访接待室。1979年，县委、政府办公室各设信访科。1984年体制改革后，县委、
政府信访科合并，改为信访局。县直各部门和各乡镇都有专人负责信访工作。1990
年，各乡镇配备了副局级专职信访员。
