    巨野因处断裂区， 地震灾害历史上就有发生。据旧志记载，从公元前131年至
1921年， 共发生震灾9次。 其中震灾较大的是1402年、1622年、1668年6月17日和
1899年3月25日， 上述四次大地震，声响如雷，城镇民房倒塌过半，人、畜伤亡甚
多。新中国成立后，1966年春，河北邢台地震，1969年渤海地震，1975年辽宁海城
地震， 1976年河北唐山地震和1983年11月7日菏泽地震，对巨野都有影响，出现三
至五级地震，但朱造成大的损失。
