    巨野历年平均初霜期在10月28日， 最早在lO月9日；平均终霜期在4月1日。平
均无霜期207．4天，最长249天，最短178天。
    霜冻给农业带来的损失，主要是初霜冻过早，使作物受冻，生长期变短，造成
减产。如1966年10月28日初霜冻，造成全县4．6万亩多穗高粱减产八成。终霜过晚，
正值小麦拔节， 果树开花，蔬菜开始生长，因抗寒能力弱，遇霜受害。1953年4月
13日终霜冻，造成全县小麦减产四至五成。
