    巨野县位于鲁西南菏泽地区东都。地理坐标：东经115°47′至116°13′，北
纬35°05′，至35°30′。东临嘉祥县，南与金乡、成武和定陶县接壤，西与菏泽
市毗连，北靠郓城县境。1990年行政区划版图，东西长49公里，南北宽4z公里，东
北与西南相距54公里，土地总面积1308平方公里。
    县城在巨野镇， 位于巨野县东北部，地理坐标：东经116°05′，北纬35°23
′。北距首都北京510公里，东北距山东省会济南市165公里，西距菏泽地区行署驻
地菏泽市60公里。
