    训练班和师范班：1937年4月，教育厅派2人，来巨野办短期小学教师训练班，
学生50人，多是初中毕业生，训期3个月。讲堂设在县党部前院(即书院的前院) 。
前半期由省厅所派的2人进行训练，后半期由姚西峰讲教授法和指导学生实习教学。
1945年7月， 又招收师范生50人，由教务主任姚西峰兼班主任，未及毕业，至1946
年12月，因战争学生解散。
