    自1840年以来，单县自然灾害主要是雨涝、干旱、干热风、冰雹、霜冻、低温、雨淞、雾淞、大风、高温、地震、虫灾、瘟疫等。在1855年以前，因本地濒临黄河，河患频仍。1855年黄河改道，黄灾基本消失。
