    1983年以前，单县无专门审计机构，审计工作由财税、金融等部门按职责范围分工负责。1984年3月，设立县审计局，后审计局定编12人，内设人秘股、工交基建审计股、商粮贸审计股、行财审计股、审计体系指导股。相继建立81个内审机构和一个审计事务所，配备专、兼职内部审计人员129人。
