    户饲养  1956年以前，家畜、家禽均为各户饲养。农业合作化以后，农户除养少量鸡、鸭、鹅、猪、羊外，大牲畜均归集体喂养。1979年后，家畜、家禽出现农户、专业户和村、乡联合喂养的多种形式。
    集体饲养  1956年始，大牲畜统一归集体饲养。1958年，兴起社办饲养场，以饲养猪、羊为主。1970年，增加队办养猪场。中共十一届三中全会后，部分乡村建立了养鸡场、养兔场、奶牛场。
