    成武县自然地貌是黄河巨量冲积物填充而成的黄泛平原。仅据历史资料记载，两千余年间，黄河决口即达1593次，其中影响境内地貌变化较大的就有44次。黄河泛滥，造成巨量冲积物填充，其厚度不一，一般为200米—550米，交错分布。加之风雨冲刷侵蚀和人为活动等影响，形成现在全境较为平坦，呈大平小不平，岗、坡、洼相间的状态。
