    1980年7月，日本客户第一次来县进行桐木加工技术交流。1981年元月，县木器厂派一名副厂长随外贸人员赴日本考察桐木加工技术。1981年5月至1982年7月之间，日本大阪岸和田市留河荣等人曾4次来县木器厂进行技术交流。1982年9月县木器厂厂长带领两名技术人员赴日本考察和学习，两名技术人员在日本大阪岸和田市留河荣木器厂研修半年，并取得毕业证书。
