    新中国成立后，信访机构不断完善。1950年由县人民政府办公室负责。1951年9月，县政府设人民问事处，由政府办公室、法院、公安局、监察委员会和民政科轮流确定专人接见来访群众和处理信访案件。1952年春，人民问事处业务停止，信访工作改由人民监察委员会负责。1955年8月31日，监察委员会撤销，信访工作移交县政府办公室负责。1963年12月，县委办公室、县人委办公室分别设立人民来信来访接待室。1967年4月，县革命委员会下设人民来信来访接待室。1972年9月16日，改信访接待室为信访组。1979年12月，信访组撤销，设中共成武县委办公室信访科。1980年5月，县革命委员会办公室下设信访科，1981年7月，该科改属县政府办公室。
