    境内灌溉形式主要是以人力、畜力和机器提取井水、河水打畦漫灌，旱天水源不足，创浇穴点种。50年代后期，投入大量劳力、物力、财力，修建平原水库和地上渠道，发展自流灌溉，但由于脱离实际，即平渠还耕。1978年后，一度发展喷灌机800余部，但喷头易损，全县70%灌溉面积改为管道输水灌溉，节约用水，效果较好。
