    1986年后，公路建设开始进入快速发展的轨道。全社会对公路建设重要性的认识不断提高，奠定公路建设的基础。国家拨款、地方财政投入、群众集资等多渠道筹资，为全县公路建设提供坚实保障。截至2005年底，全县干线公路(省道)158.6公里，地方公路通车里程达到1089.3公里，其中县道102.6公里，乡道253.7公里，村道733公里，初步形成以干线公路为骨架，以乡村公路为网络的四通八达、干支相连、配套设施完备的地方公路网。
