    境内建筑沙和砖瓦黏土资源丰富。 建筑用沙主要分布在南部的黄河故道， 储量
4000万吨；砖瓦用黏土主要分布在邵庄、郑庄、梁堤头、仵楼、青堌集等乡镇，储量
1500万吨。金属矿产有铁矿，主要分布在青堌集镇曾楼一带。非金属矿藏主要是煤，
境内煤炭总储量超过30亿吨， 潜在经济价值超过15000亿元。地热资源丰富。2000年
10月，在庄寨镇打出地热井1眼，井深1969米，水温69℃；2006年4月17日，在县政府
招待所打出地热井1眼，井深1100米，水温48℃。
