    1967年，开始建设曹县火力发电厂，装有750千瓦汽轮发电机组2个。1968年8月，
县发电厂正式发电。1974年10月，3000千瓦发电机组投入运行。1986年，建有1、2号
机房1015.8平方米， 凉水池500平方米，安装750千瓦汽轮发电机组1个，3000千瓦发
电机组1个，年发电量1522万千瓦时。1991年11月，县发电厂新上3000千瓦发电机组1
个。1994年，进行扩建，建成凉水塔、厂房、烟囱等设施。至2000年，县发电厂累计
发电42476万千瓦时，创利税1783万元。之后，因机组老化，加上电煤价格不断上涨，
发电成本高，经营不善，发电厂破产。
