    1986～1995年，科技宣传主要是开展科技宣传月、宣传周活动。1995年牡丹
区被评为全国科技工作先进县市(区)，加大了科技宣传力度。除每年一度的宣传
月(周)外，还利用每年的3.15消费者权益日、4.26世界知识产权日，通过科技、
文化、卫生三下乡活动举办科普讲座、展览，在电视台开办专题栏目等多种形式
广泛宣传科技知识。2005年牡丹区被评为全国科技先进县市（区）。
