    1986～2005年，牡丹区纪委、监察局认真履行"保护、惩处、监督、教育"四
项职能，共立查各类违纪案件2500多起。处分党员、干部2763人，其中副科级以
上领导干部256人； 开除党籍42人；开除公职36人；降级、降职28人。所查案件
都做到了事实清楚，证据确凿，定性准确，处理恰当，手续完备的办案要求。
