    牡丹区的家禽饲养主要以鸡为主，鸭、鹅为辅。在广大农村，对蛋鸡的饲养
管理很粗放，从育成期开始，一直把鸡放入院内，早晚各补饲一次，所用饲料也
多为原粮或玉米面、麦麸、米糠等。规模养殖业的发展，对蛋鸡的饲养要求不断
提高。而肉鸡因为饲养周期较短，因此就要求更为严格的饲养管理条件。配合饲
料、人工光照、程序化防疫等先进技术也广泛应用于养鸡生产，在较大程度上加
快了养鸡业的发展和饲料水平的提高。
